Polished stone is porous and acid-sensitive. Wine, lemon juice, coffee, oil — even an ordinary bathroom cleaner — will etch marble in seconds, and the mark is in the stone rather than on it. Removing it means a technician and a polishing machine in your kitchen. Tuff Skin is a clear film bonded to the surface that takes all of that instead. It is virtually invisible, it handles heat, and when it is eventually damaged we replace the film — never the stone.

Shield from Scratches
Wine, citrus, coffee, oil and cleaning products never reach the stone. Protected marble does not etch — the film takes it. Knives, grit and glassware mark the film, not the stone. When the film eventually wears, it is replaced and the surface underneath is untouched — which is the whole point of it.
Reduce Heat
Stain Repellent Power
Red wine on unsealed marble is a permanent mark. On a protected worktop it beads on the film. Simply wipe them away with ease, saving you time and stress. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your surfaces are shielded from everyday messes.
Block UV Rays
Preserves Value & Beauty:
Kitchen islands, bathroom vanities, reception counters and bar tops — the film blocks UV as well as acid, so stone keeps its depth of color instead of bleaching out under Hawaii sun. Enjoy peace of mind with long-lasting protection for your beautiful space. Our films go beyond aesthetics, acting as a barrier against sunlight damage. Fading and discoloration become a thing of the past, keeping your surfaces beautiful and valuable.

Common questions
What is stone surface protection?
Stone surface protection — we install Tuff Skin — is a clear film bonded to polished stone: marble, quartzite, travertine, onyx and granite. Stone is porous and acid-sensitive, so wine, citrus, coffee and ordinary cleaning products etch and stain it permanently. The film takes that damage instead, and when it wears you replace the film rather than refinishing or replacing the stone. We install it on kitchen islands and worktops, bathroom vanities, hotel reception counters and bar tops.
How long does installation take?
Most residential jobs are finished in a single day, and many in a few hours. A whole-house installation with large sliding doors may run into a second day. Commercial buildings are scheduled floor by floor around your operating hours. The film is handleable immediately and fully cured in a few weeks depending on humidity.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Estimates are free and there is no obligation. For most residential jobs we can give you a firm number after a short visit to measure the glass; for commercial buildings we will walk the site with you and provide a written proposal including film specifications and warranty terms.

Warranty, in writing, before you commit
Professionally installed window film normally carries two separate warranties, and it pays to know which is which. The film manufacturer warrants the film. The installer warrants the installation. Different documents, different parties, different failures.
The manufacturer's film warranty
This one covers the film as a product — defects such as bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and color change. Terms differ by film and by manufacturer, and almost all of them require that the film was installed professionally rather than by the owner. We give you the manufacturer's own warranty document for the film we quote, so you read the real terms rather than our summary of them.
Our own workmanship
This one covers the installation rather than the film: contamination under the film, lifting edges, trimming, the finish along the frame. If something about our installation is not right, tell us and we will come back and put it right. That is between you and us, and it does not depend on anybody else.
What to ask any installer, us included
- Which part is the film warranty and which part is yours?
- Does it cover the labour to replace the film, or only the material?
- Does it survive a sale of the property or the boat?
- What voids it — cleaning products, exterior application, self-installed repairs?
Ask for the answers in writing. Any installer worth hiring will put them there without being pushed.
Our written quote names the film we intend to use and the warranty that comes with it. If you want to read the warranty terms before you commit to anything, ask for them along with the quote and we will send them.
