Window film in Aiea & Pearl City

Window film for Aiea, Pearl City and Waimalu — hillside homes over Pearl Harbor and the Pearlridge commercial strip.

The hillside homes above Aiea and Pearl City look south-west over Pearl Harbor, which is the worst orientation on the island for late afternoon heat. The view is the reason people bought the house, so the brief is almost always: keep the view, lose the heat.

The housing stock here is largely 1960s–1980s tract and split-level, with single-pane aluminium-framed glass. That is the easiest glazing to film and where the temperature difference is most dramatic — these windows have effectively no insulating value of their own.

On the commercial side we cover the Pearlridge corridor and the office and medical buildings along Kamehameha Highway, where the usual driver is tenant comfort complaints on the west face of the building.
