Window film in Kailua
Window film for Kailua and Lanikai — strong morning light, trade winds and salt air on the windward side.
Kailua's problem is the morning, not the afternoon. East-facing glass takes the sun from first light, and beach cottages tend to have a lot of it. By the time the trades pick up the house has already absorbed the heat.
The windward side also means salt. Homes within a few streets of the beach see salt deposits on the exterior glass, and that matters for film choice: we install on the interior surface, which keeps the film away from the salt entirely and makes cleaning the outside a normal chore rather than a risk to the installation.
Newer builds off Kalaheo and up towards Enchanted Lake often already have low-E glass. That changes which films are safe to use — some combinations can cause thermal stress — so we confirm the glazing type before we quote.
